Section 188 IPC during lockdown

09-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
My father went to his office to collect his check book which was around 10 Kms from our house in Delhi during lockdown. Traffic police caught him and imposed sec 188 of IPC. So Will he face detention or just the fine? Will there be strict action taken?

Section 188 has been imposed against you in the FIR this section is non-compoundable it means the IO of case will file a chargesheet and you have to face the trial the maximum what you can do is go to the magistrate and plead guilty so maybe he will impose fine on you and will let you go thank you

he will be required to be present before the judge on a date which will be informed by the police and the judge will ask him the reason why he was out. after that the judge will impose a fine and leave him.
