Regarding short order code understanding

Hi Sir, I have applied for bail for my father in Ranchi High Court. Since, I live in Bangalore it is difficult to get in touch with the lawyers and understand the proceedings. For that purpose my uncle is looking into that and talking to the concerned lawyer. I was checking the status of the case online where it was mentioned first as "call for diary" and after getting hearing date again it said "call for report". I just wanted to understand what does call for report means? All what does this means when a higher court call for report? Thanks & Regards, Ankit Raj
