Regarding section 166A of IPC 1860 and its application .

Sir, please let me know whether we can only prosecute erring police officer under section 166A of IPC for refusing to register FIR of cognizable offence of sexual in nature which is mentioned in the said section 166A or for refusing to register FIR of all types of cognizable offence.
okay I understand your questions police refuse the registred FIR for sexual harasement you will take a NCR from police and file a case for mahistrate rigistre FIR it is possible so do you need any further help contact me thank you
