Quash filed in highcourt what happens to trail in lower court

22-Nov-2025 (In Criminal Law)
An FIR was registered against me with charges under 118(1) and 115(1) under BNS. The statement of victim says I attacked with sticks and he fell on a stone. The statement of witnesses says I attacked with sticks and when victim is about to fall the saved. The wound certificate confirms no injury. I filed for a quash in high court and the judgement is pending. The lower court is going with trail. Can I inform lower court about quash and request for stay in proceedings till the high court verdict

no you can not the quash petition is still pending so you have to face trail in lower court,if quash is accepted and your case is disposed in highcourt then you need not attend lowercourt the highcourt will send a letter to dispose off in lower court
