Public Drinking Near Sheikh Sarai Area

I caught for Public Drinking almost 1 week back, They took my breath analyser test, photo of my adhaar card and asked me to sign Pabandi nama. I am not sure was was written on that pabandi nama. No slip or document was provided to me and told me it was just a warning. Is there any way we can check with the Police if they have filled something or they will do anything on that later. Can anyone help me on this.

In short, it looks like the police chose not to pursue a formal case against you and only gave you a stern warning. Unless you receive a formal notice, summons, or challan later, you do not need to worry. Since they only noted your Aadhaar and made you sign an undertaking, it seems more like a warning.

Since they took only your Aadhaar details, photo, breath test, and your signature — but did not give you a challan / FIR copy — it usually means no FIR or challan was registered at that time. You can check online if any challan or FIR is registered against your Aadhaar / name. Some states have police portals (for Delhi, Haryana, etc. you can search “State Police Citizen Portal FIR Status”).

You can meet with the SHO of concerned police station and asked about the incident, or write to the DCP concerned and told them that you have been interrogated and the official took your signature upon the blank papers.
