Police forcing witness to come again and again for the statement

I'm a woman stating in Bangalore..I was working as office supdt.till 2015.In a case , I'm given to understand that I am made a witness by the prosecution/ plaintiff in private case in Chitradurga court..I never signed any documents relating to the case nor I have received any summons till date Police authorities over phone forcing me to come down to Chitradurga.. which is about 220kms..I'm aged 60yrs... I am not at all interested in any court case nor I would like to give witness.... please advise
Hi... Mam no need to worry if you dont want to stand as a witness same thing you can depose before the Court and court will consider your request and you also get witness travelling expenses from the court.
