Person trying to kill me,how to make complaint against him to police

Through a friendly source I get to know that a person whom I know is conspiring to kill me an I cannot have the source testify the same at the police station. What action could I possibly take in this situation?

Meet an advocate and file a private complaint against that person under section 156 (2) of codr of criminal procedure and give sworn statement before court and court direct police to take action against persons u have aim of doing
