Person took money promised to give job now absconding

Hello sir / Ma'am , I have given 1lakh to a man who works on the same government office where he said he will give me a job. He stayed in contact for many days but now his phone no is out of service. So what should i do now . Will i case against him or search him .. if i case against him what case of law should i select. Please guide me sir ... I have call recordings of him ...
