PCC application and a 4 year pending driving accident case

29-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have a 2016 case of 279, 337 IPC for which I reached a compromise with the other party straightafter. I then moved out of India and had a visa before the incedent. The in 2018 I applied for a PCC again and got it no problems. Now in 2020 I applied a PCC again and this time the local police are syaing there is a case pending. Note the case was not registered in my local station but in another district. I asked the IO and he said the police had filed a closure in court in 2017 but the court made some objections and then no body knows where the file is now. I am very concerend now because I cant travel to India during these times and only a court can help me I guess. And I really need this PCC to stay where I am. Can someone please advice ?

sir you need to hire an advocate or If you have some relation here then you can ask them to go to court and they can help in finding your file and then whatever is the objection they can see and let you know but the first thing is to find your file and then only next step can be taken. If you want I can help you but I need to know where the case was going on cause I am in chandigarh.

where was the case registered n whether after compromise complainant recorded his statement in court. secondly 279 ipc is a non compoundable offence meaning thereby u have to approach high court for quashing. now u must be declared proclaimed person by the court
