Obtaining Final Form Officially

I want to know about the procedure for obtaining official copy of Final Form submitted to Court.
If you want any copy from the judicial file then you need to approach the court and apply for the certified copy of the same. You need to get it cross-signed by the magistrate in which your matter is pending and submit it to the copying agency of the court.

To obtain an official copy of the final form (charge sheet) submitted to the court, you can file an application before the court where the case is pending. If you are a party to the case, you are entitled to receive a copy. You may also approach the court clerk or the concerned police station to request the same or could hire a lawyer to do for you.

If you’re the Accused in the Case then a copy of the Final Form will be provided to you free of cost. However, if you are the Complainant then you might face some hurdles in getting the Free Copy. But you can always apply for certified copy of the Chargesheet.
