Not Filing of Chargesheet by the Police

I am the complainant in the case and Police is not filing chargesheet or final report in the case thought 2 years has been completed from the date of crime what petition can i file in the court of law for directing the Police to file Chargesheet or Final Report
There should be no delay in filing FIR . Once if there is delay in filing FIR, the police need to give explanation to the court stating the reasons for delay. In your case, Once you have filed complaint, the case goes into the hands of police and the public prosecutor represents your case at free of cost.
