Yes, a 6A case can be booked under E.C Act 1955 by a Seed inspector for the shortage of stocks of seeds in a seed processing unit as per the stock register.
Every license under this Order, shall, unless previously suspended or cancelled, remain valid for three years from the date of its issue. This is done by a seed inspector. Provided that without prejudice to any action which may be taken under any other provision of this Act, no food grains or edible oilseeds in pursuance of an order made under section 3 in relation thereto from a producer shall, if the seized food grains or edible oilseeds have been produced by him, be confiscated under this section.
