Mera bhai ek 16 saal ke nabalig ladki ke sath bhaga or unhe pt.deendayal upadhyay satetion pr pakd liya dono tarf ki family ko bulya or dono ko ghar bhej diya ladki fir bhi ghar jaane ke liye taiyar nhi thi,ladki ke family wale se puchha gaya kya ladke pr complain karna chahate hai unhone mana kr diya fir ghar jane ke bad panchayat laga jisme ladko wali ki family se 2lakh rupees ka maang kr rhe hai.

As per your narration, the matter involves a minor girl (16 years), which legally comes under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, irrespective of consent. Even though the police released both parties at that time and the girl’s family initially refused to lodge a complaint, any demand for 2 lakh through a panchayat is illegal and amounts to extortion or criminal intimidation
