My lawyer threatened me destroy my case.

Last year I filled a complaint in Women's west gurgaon Police station for my case I hired a private Lawyer but he leaked all my personal proofs to the accused party and the police and he also threatened me to destroy my case and was asking for extra money to pay me and he was blackmailing me.

Hello, In this case, you can simply change your advocate and report the matter to the Gurugram Bar Association along with the relevant evidence. This conduct is unethical, and the Bar Association will take appropriate action against the concerned advocate.

you can complain against the lawyer to the concerned bar association Haryana, that depends on overall circumstances as per facts. if you have proof he has leaked your personal proof that's breach of professional misconduct. u can complaint to women cell as well. change your lawyer. no need to pay him .

Thats is absolutely wrong. A lawyer cannot leak client private talk or evidence to anybody else. That is a professional misconduct. How he is threatening to destroy your case please provide more detail to help you out. He cannot blackmail a client. Feel free to get in touch to discuss the matter at length.
