My case is taking to many years I don't know what to do

I have been wrongly arrested and fir been registered when I was in college it's been 5 years i don't know what's happening i can't get into job because of this case my background clearance is negative my entire life and education is getting wasted because of this case I want quash this case but don't know what to do with it . my case hadn't started hearing in court our advocate said it would take atleast 5-6 years take to close this case till then my life will be ruined idk anythg abt th law
