In your case, there are two issues — (1) the mismatch of your name in the Aadhaar card and the FIR, and (2) the assault case filed against you. Regarding the name mismatch, you should carry valid ID proofs (Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, etc.) and inform your lawyer so that they can clarify to the police/court that both names refer to the same person, possibly by filing an affidavit. As for bail, offences involving physical assault by hand and feet usually fall under sections like 323, 325, or 504/506 of the IPC, which are often bailable (depending on the injury severity mentioned in the medical report). If it is a bailable offence, the police station can grant you bail directly upon furnishing a bail bond and sureties. If the offence is non-bailable (for example, if there is grievous hurt), you will have to apply for anticipatory bail or regular bail before the magistrate through your lawyer. Do not go to the police station alone — go with your lawyer so your rights are protected and to avoid unnecessary custody. Your lawyer can also verify the FIR copy and injury report to advise whether bail will be granted at the police station or needs to be sought from court.
