Money not returning back since a year.threatning us when goes to speak

I have given money to someone and agreement also but since one year he is not returning back and telling I don't have money I will give when I will have ....do whatever you want to.plz help what can I do.
hi if he is not repaying the amount then you could send notice to him to repay the amount and if he failed to repay the amount then you could file civil suit for recovery of money along with interest and other charges
