अपने नज़दीकी पुलिस स्टेशन जाकर लिखित शिकायत (FIR) दर्ज कराएं। अगर पुलिस FIR लेने से मना करे, तो आप Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) या District Magistrate को लिखित शिकायत भेज सकते हैं, या CrPC की धारा 154(3) के तहत सीधे मजिस्ट्रेट के पास जा सकते हैं। अगर कोई ठोस धमकी (जैसे मैसेज, कॉल, चिट्ठी) मिली है, तो उसका सबूत (screenshot, recording, गवाह) सुरक्षित रखें — कानूनी कार्रवाई में यही सबसे ज़रूरी होता है। जान को तुरंत ख़तरा महसूस हो तो 112 (नेशनल इमरजेंसी नंबर) पर कॉल करें।
