Mental harassment by Mother IN Law harassment verbal & physical abuse

I am facing MIL harassment for last 7 years, on 1st year of marriage only my MIL kicked me out of house just for some nominal reason(i left bucket with water overflowing in bathroom) then later on only my husband took me back to in laws house, but she continued the same thing, she verbally as well as physically abusing me, she is continuously torturing me, not skipping single minute to taunt me, whenever guest comes to our house she always insulting me in from of them, two times she threatened me with holding knife in her hand that she is going to cut my head and said that run away from house, when i narrated this incident to my husband when he back from office , she denied and told him that i am lying.she also not allowing me and my husband any kind of privacy and always disturbing us to maintain distance between us , and told me that if i will remain childless she will throw me out of house and will take further decision about my husband ,I want to send MIL in jail, please suggest.
