MCD filed case for illegal balcony extended in DDA flat. Advice.

MCD filed criminal conspiracy case for extending balcony for keeping washing machine in DDA flat in 2014. They claimed that several notices were served to stop construction but I received non. I appeared before the patiala house court with my friend who signed bail bond for me. Sir how much serious the offence is and what is the maximum punishment generally is given in such cases? To admit plea guilty would be the better option to get rid off from running around? What is the procedure to change layer in between if he does not take interest.

You can contest your case by plea bargaining rather than plea guilty. You haven't stated the sections under which you have been summoned. As per changing of counsel, you can do this after getting no objection from your councel.
