Lost money to get a job. We need money in return. Please clarify

Respected sir,
I requesting you to clear my problem. My husband and his friends paid 10L per head , 5 persons totally 50 L to an agent to get a job in foreign country. He doesn't allocate any job to them. We are requesting him to repay the amount. He is delaying to pay the amount more than 3 years. We are very disappointed. They gave money in hand. So we have don't have any proof. He is having house as property. What will be the best way to get money from him. His mother only staying in home.
