Legal remedy in case cousins makes violence

my husband's cousins came to my home and attacked us. we lives in one home. 2 uncles and we. my husband's health was ill. and my 10years old daughter also afraid by them so what should I have to do for punish them ?
You can simply lodge F.I.R. and report the incident of violence committed by cousins of your husband. This is the first step which is required to be taken. In this particular case, you have to register a case against the attackers for Voluntary causing Hurt and Criminal Intimidation under relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code, 1860. It is very important to register the case because there are chances of repetition of such incidents of violence. Registration of case will act as deterrent.
