Legal remedy against husband's extra marital affair

I am married for 16yrs. I have a 4yr daughter. My husband is involved in an extramaritial affair for last 2yrs. The woman is a divorcee and from his office. He has a private job. I am a working woman. Family members know but don't take any steps. He stays with the other female once in a week. I stay with in-laws. I don't have my parents. I want to bring him back permanetly. He does not want to go to any council. Is there any steps I can take to do the same. I do not want to divorce my Husband.I am a Hindu.

You can file a case under relevant section of law,if you do not want to divorce your husband and tag him in any kind of case,then i suppose you are not from this era.i think instead of posting it before a legal portal ,post it before a pandit's portal ,one who can help you change your husband's mind and help him take the decision not to have extra marital affair.
