Legal Procedure for mental harassment

I was video editor of a photographer we both are in different city. he send me data of a client for editing. by chance my hard drive broke and data has been lost with same. i asked photographer to resend data but he also deleted the same. now we both decided to refund amount to client for which we will pay 50%-50%. It was not my fault but still just because of relation i said ok to pay but now that photographer and client both continue calling me and harassing me.
what should i do?
