Legal opinion on international lottery via agents under new Act

As per the new Online Gaming & Regulation Act 2025, online International lottery is prohibited in India. I want your legal advice on whether Indian users can still play through international lottery platforms that act only as agents/messengers, where they purchase the physical ticket abroad on our behalf. Please guide if such play is legally valid under the new law or if there are risks/penalties involved.

Participation in international lotteries through agents or foreign platforms is illegal under the Online Gaming & Regulation Act, 2025. Doing so exposes you to criminal and financial penalties. The only legally safe option is to play state-authorized lotteries within India.
