Legal effect of not going for counseling in domestic violence case

Hi am a Christian and recently my wife harrasing me so we got seperated for one month my parents wont stay wit us they visited us only two times till now.now my wife filed dvc on me and my parents they calling for counselling they are old with lots of health issues so can we skip counselling for now what Will happen if we skip.

Hi
Your parents need not attend counselling.
Also you can file a discharge petition to discharge your parents from DVC case.
Also you can file an exemption petition in High court and get an exemption for your parents and yourself from appearance and can be represented by Lawyers instead.

you should furnish full details i.e., date of marriage, children, whether the petitioner is an employee, etc.,
There is no need in attendance of all the respondents in a DVC. alone your attendance is mere sufficient and your counsel can file petition to rest of the respondents. if there is any amicable atmosphere in between you and the petitioner then you can report the same in during counseling. otherwise qualify what is your will and then the matter goes accordingly.
