Landlord forcing to have sex What action can be taken against him
18-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Dear Sir/ Mam, One of my friend (a girl) lives on rent in army area. And the landlord works in army. And that landlord has read her personal diary and now he is blackmailing her. He is saying that if she doesn't have sex with her, he will tell everything to everyone including her parents and in her school. My friend is just 14 years old. She is very depressed. Please tell me what can be done in this case.
Don't succumb to the pressure. Girl should immediately file a complaint before the Chief Judicial Magistrate of the city where the victim resides. In case of emergency she can contact the women police cell of the city. I would strongly suggest that the girl should immediately inform her parents about the incident and you must also proactively act in this matter as you are also duty bound to protect the life and dignity of the girl.

I believe, I responded to this question.
My response is simple, initiate proceedings at the earliest stage. Get an FIR lodged against him under sexual harassment and then get your statement recorded before the magistrate, that will further put him in trouble

Hello,
that is very strange that such incidents are taking place in our society. However as a legal recourse you can file an FIR under section 354 of the IPC and if the police refuses to register an FIR you can lodge a complaint case against the person before the Magistrate under Section 200 of Cr.P.C. Let me know if I can be of any help.
thanks and Regards
