Is online flirting by a husband considered cheating as per law

Me and my husband is married for 4 yrs but we dnt have any physical intimacy since 2.5 yrs . But recently i have found him chatting online with random girls on whtsapp facebook and Tinder . i want to know can this be called as cheating from legal point of view

Yes it can be the ground, you have to file petition under the provisions of the Hindu marriage act,1955. The not cohabiting for such long can be the ground. Detail consultancy can be given only after knowing entire facts. But it will be only applicable to non cohabitation, however, for inline dating and flirting might be construed as cruelty as it is not properly defined in Hindu Marriage Act. Thus, if you want a divorce then you can apply for divorce on the grounds mentioned above.

You may file case under domestic violence act against him but first of all inspite of filing complaint you batter issue a legal notice against him try settle down the issues and upon failure then you may initiate a prosecution against him
