Is it safe to be a surety for someone in india? A person in my contacts is acused for 392 and 394 and asking me to be his surety (jamindar) in court. Is it safe to be a surety and will it impact my IT career in any ways? I have heard that it when I will switch my job it will reflect in the verification and there are chances I will be rejected. Is it true?
