Is it an offence to take photograph of a woman without her consent

if a man take photography of woman without her consent and also she warned him to withdraw from that...is it an offence,penalty?

Hi, No doubt that photography of woman without her consent is a serious offence and if she warned him to withdraw from that , then it becomes further more grievous offence which attracts severe punishments by virtue of Indian Penal Code and sometimes attracts IT Act also. If any complaint lodged by any victim against you in such events, it is better to get advise at the earliest. This is a very wide query with far-reaching consequences.Is the woman a celebrity for which we all know the answers.Moreover even otherwise there are many other minutest particulars to make it an offence and a vague legal advise is not appropriate.
