Is case dismissed after the death of the complainant

A f.i.r. was lodged in a police station under sections 419/420/504/506(2) and subsequently charge sheet was filed under section 173 of crpc. This was done in the year 2014. The complainant died last month. Will the case be closed/ dismissed as the complainant has died or i will be discharged/acquitted in the case. The complainant had not recorded his statement before the concerned magistrate & i had been getting adjournments by the court itself. Kindly advice on the matter.
