If the investigation officer is not following the directions of the High Court and is threatening the victim such conduct is improper and against the law. Even if bail has been dismissed by the High Court the police cannot threaten or force the victims to withdraw the case. The victim has the right to pursue the case and seek legal protection. In such a situation the victim can submit a return complaint to the police authorities such as the superintendent of police. The victim may also approach the honorable High Court by filing an appropriate petition or bring the violation to the notice of the court. It is advisable to consult a local advocate to take appropriate legal steps for protection and to ensure compliance with the courts order.
