Implications of section 279 IPC

Hi, i've a query regarding section 279, the incident happened on 2015, no injury to anyone it was just the cars touch and some scratches on it, after some hearing the other party agreed settling it out of the court, and the court released my car on superdhari,and order IO to submit report, the license and rc still in P.S, Due to some financial condition i didn't able to visit court again, its difficult for me to bear the lawyers fees, due to some health issue i had resigned from my job still i m jobless only my wife is working, when i checked online about the case status its was showing that it was registered on 2017 and next hearing on January. Please guide me Thank you in advance.

You should never suppose to absent on your case hearings, it totally goes against you.

And as per your query case was not decided, court ordered for Police Report which is a starting process of any criminal case, as you was not attending court hearings then it may possible that court has passed any order against you, and online case details are not completely accurate hence you should go to court to check case status.
