Dear sir/ ma'am No, as per my experience the court does not give any kind of compensation for your expenses as you are accused in this case. If you don't appear in front of court then court might is BWs against you. There are other ways to tackle the situation. Thank you

If you have been deprived of your rightful share in the ancestral or jointly owned family property, you are well within your legal rights to demand what is due to you. Not only can you claim your share in the property through a partition suit, but you can also demand diet money or maintenance if you are entitled under the relevant laws. A partition suit is a legal remedy under which a co-owner or legal heir can seek division and separate possession of their share in the joint property. Whether the property is ancestral or self-acquired but jointly held, the law ensures protection of your rights. Diet money, or maintenance, may also be claimed in certain circumstances, especially if you are dependent and the other party has failed to provide necessary financial support. These matters are sensitive and fact-specific. Therefore, it is advisable to consult in detail to understand your position better and take timely legal action. You are generally not entitled to demand compensation for these things. however if you called as a PW by the state, you may entitled to get witness allowance as per the court norms. You may rise your issue before the ld. court and requested travel support provided that you provide your financial hardships or something

No, the court won’t pay for your hotel, meals, or travel just because you’ve been summoned. That kind of allowance is only for witnesses. What you can do is file an application under Section 205 CrPC—this lets your lawyer appear on your behalf for most hearings so you don’t have to keep traveling. Later, if you’re acquitted and the court feels your sister filed a false or malicious case, we can ask the court to order her to compensate you under Section 250 CrPC.
