I want to ask regarding the Application CrPC 319

20-Aug-2024 (In Criminal Law)
During the investigation, the officer presented a witness who stated that the minor victim had stayed at their home for 17 days without informing her family. Now, I, as the accused, have filed an application under CrPC 319 to add charges against this witness, who was a major when the victim stayed at their home. It's worth noting that the witness has already undergone the Chief Cross Examination in front of the Hon'ble Court. I'd like to know if it is permissible or not?

it is not clear from the question what exactly are you looking in for. however what is the allegation and the charges against you and the court if have already allowed Chief Cross Examination then it is utmost important to note why that has been done so

It completely depends on the case and the charges you wish to be framed against the witness, without the proper documents it is hard to say anything. I first need to go through the document to see if the addition you wish is permissible or not.
