How to get money back from court submitted by thief in atm fraud

Sir..I was a victim of atm fraud and person stolen 45,000 Rs from my bank account..and by god's grace ...police caught him and recovered money but he had submitted only 30000 Rs to court...and he wants us to compromise the court case....so what should we do....how to get money from court and how to get back remaining money 15000 from That fraud.....
you can easily get money,since the cuprit has been caught and money ghas been recovered from him.for further legal assistance in the given matter as aforesaid proper discussion is must with a lawyer.
