How to deal with policemen under IPC

I have filled fir under sec 376 377 and 506 last month the accuse is been arrested and is in jc since then his bail plea is getting rejected and police are telling us to give the evidence and the statement of the witnesess fast as they dont want him to get bail. I just wanted to know why police are telling us to make it quick.
Its a grevious offence therefore they are supposed do it as early as possible. The police has limitations to file chargesheet before the Honble court. You have to cooperate the police for the same has you are main victim.
