HC quashed but city court shows NBW online

18-Nov-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hello respected sir, My case was presented in HC and they have quashed the case under Cr. PC 482 and I have the final orders. But I see that in my city civil court (ecourts website) they still show it as NBW with a date in future. If HC has quashed the case doesn’t that mean the case is dropped? Do I still need to go to the court and will I be arrested if I go to city court now as it says NBW... Thanks

Hi as the case has been quashed by Hon'ble High Court so you don't have to bother about the lower court status as reflecting in the online website. The orders can be shared by your advocate with the lower court. Accordingly the same shall be considered in the lower court to follow the High Court Orders.

Hi.. if your case is quashed in High court you have to produce the same order in trail court with memo . After court look in to your order note down in the order sheet and keep the original order copy in the file and close the case on that day.
Thank you
