Had Intimate chat with a below 18 year girl wrongly

Is there any punishment or conviction for having only mutual sex chats with a girl below 18....just only chats no photos exchanges....nor we didn't meet.....and after realising I stopped all kinds of sexual conversation and told her this should not be done ....my question is if her parents complains later after seeing our chats and if they complain....will I get punished and convicted by court or police will just give a warning and close the case

Dear client, Mutual sexual chats with a minor can attract POCSO, but since you stopped immediately, no meeting happened, no photos exchanged, and intent wasn’t criminal, police usually issue a warning if the complaint comes later.
