If you have mistakenly transferred money through Google Pay/UPI, immediately raise a dispute through the app and contact your bank with the transaction ID and complete transaction details. Preserve screenshots, bank statements and all communication relating to the transaction. If the recipient refuses to return the amount or the transaction appears fraudulent, you may lodge a complaint with the Cyber Crime Portal and also approach the local police station. In genuine cases of wrongful retention of money received by mistake, legal remedies may be available depending on the facts and evidence. Prompt action significantly improves the chances of recovery. Keep all records safely and follow up with the bank and payment service provider in writing.

⚖️ Short Legal Advice: तुरंत receiver को call करके refund request करें (सबसे पहला step) Google Pay में जाकर transaction details से “Wrong transfer” complaint raise करें अपने bank में लिखित complaint दें (reversal request) अगर पैसे withdraw हो गए हैं, तो भी bank/UPI support recovery attempt कर सकते हैं अगर सामने वाला पैसे लौटाने से इनकार करे तो police complaint / cyber cell में report करें ध्यान रखें: जल्दी action लेने पर पैसे वापस मिलने की संभावना ज्यादा होती है।
