Girl mother filed a false case due to breaking of marriage

Hi, sir, I had my engagement in the year January 2012 and marriage date was finalised. So when only one week was left for marriage the girls mother came to my house and asked questions related to my share of property. After that she started abusing my sister in law and my family. So we decided not to proceed with marriage and then she filed an fir related to Dowry. I have hired a lawyer and case is still going on since 2012. Please let me know how to tackle this case.

Will have to go through the papers and will have to see what all proceedings have been filed by you and by the other side and what is the current Senario and as the marriage has been called off have it or she got married or Ull are yet single
