Filing an zero FIR for forgery

Sir If I want to file an zero FIR as the incident happened in another state i.e Uttarpradesh and I am in uttarakhand right now, so can I file that. Also how hard is it to file that in reality as I have heard that generally police use to avoid filing an FIR. And once they file that zero fir after how much time they transfer that to consern police station. Thanks

you can also register FIR under the new code now, and then appear within a week, what is the city where you want to register FIR? also let me know the facts as to how the forgery happened... if it happened online you can register it in your town also...
