Filed FIR against neighbor what action will be taken by police

I had filed FIR against a neighbor under 323,324. What action shall be taken against him by Police? Will he be arrested?

As per amendment in act of 2005 section 324 of IPC is non bailable offence. So yes if complaint is registered under 324 they shall get arrested. So far 323 is concerned it is bailable offence. So kindly see what sections police have charged

U have not given complete details . What is the reason that u have filed such a complaint. What was the weapon used by him to injure ur body? Depending upon the circumstances and the MENS RIA ...he may punished with imprisonment upto three years or fine or with both. He will be taken into custody of the police and he will be presented before the court for further action
