Filed a Non cognizant complaint for character assassination

HiMy complaint was against my roommates who did my fake character assassination in front of 4-5 people, for which I filed a non cognizant complaint.Police called them and asked them the matter for which they agreed my claim verbally, and signed the complaint.Hence I wanted to ask, does their agreeing verbally and singing the non cognizant form against them proof that they were guilty Please let me know as soon as possible

Dear queriest, as per your query you have mentioned that you registered an Non cognizable offence against your roommates, that the police called them and they signed the same against your NC, So it means if the same occurs next time then the police may file an FIR / Criminal complaint against them. for more information about the same kindly contact me.

No, It doesn't amount to confession. But you can use it as evidence in addition to other material evidence and file the non cognizable complaint before a magistrate for further action against the culprits. Regards
