To make a charge under Section 377 sustainable one has to prove insertion of any object either it be a finger or any object there off. if this ground is proved that it was done without the consent and inserted in the excreta. All depends on the case you are making out.

No, you can not lodge FIR u/s 377 IPC, if both are human females and both of them are adult and single. If anyone of them is either below 18 or married, then other steps can be taken according to law.
