Ex boyfriend threatening to commit suicide

Hi, I am writing this mail in regard to suicide threats that i have been receiving from an ex boyfriend and i don't know what is the right way or right thing to do here. I was in a relationship with a foreign national who i had met when he had come to Study in hyderabad. He had to. Leave after his graduation back in 2016.We broke up due to certain circumstances and now he is threatening me that he would commit suicide. He is warning me that he would apply for a visa and come near my residence, defame my family and kill himself here. I am in a really stressful situation here. I was wondering if there is any way u could help me. Thank you!
