Effect of pending 498A case in government service

Sir My wifes name was included in Case under section 498 A filed by her maternal aunts daughter in law. However while joining the service my wife in declaration did not mentioned about case. This was before our marriage. 2. Now my wife has got job ij other government department. While fillion charachter verification form, I have asked my wife to give correct details regarding the case pending. My questions are.. Will there be problem due to this case in joining new department?
Always mention truth in govt. Declaration. If given incorrect information for past cases , you can forward Letter to concern Dept.o f such mistake by explaining them it was technically mistake without intentions...concern Good lawyer Advocate for further Communication or corresponds....
