Document for job verification post acquittal
01-May-2025 (In Criminal Law)
Hi,
I recently got acquitted in a criminal case. Ecourts portal shows acquitted. The Judgement copy is expected to be received after 2 - 3 weeks.
I'm applying for a job and the company has asked for a documentation apart from the ecourt photograph and the case details.
Can someone advice me what I can do and what other document I can submit in the interim?
You can submit a Court Disposition Certificate or a Certified Case Status Report from the court showing acquittal status. Also attach the eCourts screenshot with FIR number and court name. Mention in a cover letter that the official judgment copy will be submitted once received. This should satisfy most employers during background checks.
