Do I have a case against a person for threating me?

So few days back I picked up my son from school in car and was moving to the right side when a biker stopped in front and claimed that the car has touched his leg. Despite me saying sorry he started arguing and shouting threating me and my son (who is 9 years). I had to call the police for the same. The police didn't cooperate fully and asked us to approach the traffic police station. In the traffic police station, the sub-inspector sided with the biker as they both spoke a lot in kannada, which

You can submit a formal written complaint to the higher police authorities such as the Deputy Commissioner of Police or the Commissionerate detailing the entire incident and the misconduct of the officer at the traffic police station
​You should also request dashcam footage or nearby CCTV footage from the location of the incident to prove that no harm was caused and that the biker engaged in unnecessary harassment and extortion tactics
​If necessary you can approach the local State Human Rights Commission or file a private complaint before the jurisdictional magistrate court for improper conduct and failure to register your version of events properly
