Do exhibits need 65B certificate and true copies?

19-Sep-2025 (In Criminal Law)
During cross-examination accused showed the evidence to PW1 and the court marked the photos and non cognizable report (NCR) xerox copy as exhibits. Does accused need to submit 65B certificate for photos and true copy of NCR to the court or not required? If accused need to submit 65B certificate and true copy at what stage it needs to be submitted. Cross-examination is still ongoing can accused submit on the next date?

Dear Sir, Yes, on the next date of hearing the Accused may submit 65B Application in respect of photographs and produce original NCR so that Court can take into consideration the said documents at the time of judgment. Mere marking of documents does not prove its contents unless legal formalities are followed.
